Xmas Mahjong is a solid puzzle game. The core matching gameplay is exactly what you'd expect, which is great. I like that it offers hints and shuffles, because sometimes you just get stuck and need a little nudge. It feels strategic enough to keep me engaged without being overly complicated. Some boards can be quite tricky, which I appreciate, but others feel a bit too straightforward. A few more unique tile layouts or maybe timed challenges would make it a perfect five for me, but it's still a very enjoyable way to pass the time.
I was looking forward to a festive mahjong, but this one didn't quite hit the mark for me. It's okay, but it felt a bit too easy and repetitive after a few levels. I wish there were more difficulty settings or maybe some special objectives to keep things fresh. It's fine for a quick play, but I don't feel much incentive to keep coming back to it.
